How to create an account:
1. Click this link: https://surveydetective.io/get-started
2. Create an account.
How to cancel subscription:
1. Go to the home page and sign in at https://app.surveydetective.io/
2. Click on your profile in the upper right hand corner
3. Click settings
4. Click subscriptions
5. Cancel subscription
How to create a workspace:
1. Log-in to survey detective
2. Click this link: https://app.surveydetective.io/company-switch
3. Click “+ add new”
4. Add a company name
5. Press “ok” to save
Deleting a survey
1. Go to the the surveys page at https://app.surveydetective.io/surveys
2. Make sure the survey you are deleting is published
3. Press delete
*Non-published surveys cannot be deleted. They must be published before being deleted.
How to share a survey:
1. Go to the home page and sign in at https://app.surveydetective.io/
2. Click “edit survey” on the survey you’d like to share
3. Click “settings”
4. Click “share survey”
Sidenote: Please note a workspace account is required before sharing a survey. The person receiving a link to the survey must have a survey detective account with a workspace.
How to set up a custom domain:

1. Go to your domain DNS settings and add a CNAME record with the following data:
1. TYPE: CNAME
2. NAME: www
3. VALUE / TARGET: thinksurveys.lida.clearalias.com
4. PROXY: Turn off
3. Log In on SD and go accounts page: https://app.surveypanel.io/company-switch , activate right workspace and click on globe icon.
4. Add your domain (www.yourdomain.com) and check the “root domain” box
5. On survey go to settings, click "Survey URL" and select your new domain from the dropdown.
How to set up a custom subdomain:

1. Go to your domain DNS settings and add a CNAME record with the following data:
1. TYPE: CNAME
2. NAME: yoursubdomain (if you had use.example.com, the “use” (without quotes) would go here
3. VALUE / TARGET: thinksurveys.lida.clearalias.com
2. Log In on SD and go accounts page: https://app.surveypanel.io/company-switch , activate right workspace and click on globe icon.
3. Add your subdomain (subdomain.yourdomain.com)
4. On survey go to settings, click "Survey URL" and select your new subdomain from the dropdown.
How to set up integrations:

1. Go to the home page and sign in at https://app.surveydetective.io/
2. Click “edit survey” on the survey you’d like to add an integration
3. Click “integrations”
4. Add the integration you’d like to use
How to reset your password:

1. Go to the home page at https://app.surveydetective.io/
2. Click “forgot password”
3. Enter your “email address” and submit password reset.
4. if you have an account on file, you’ll get an email with a link to reset your password.
5. Click that link in your email and create your new password.
How to export survey results:
How to set up an integration with active campaign:
Start with Survey Detective
1. Go to the home page at https://app.surveydetective.io/
2. Click “surveys” on the left menu bar
3. Click “edit” on the survey you’d like to set up the integration for
4. Click “integrations” from the top menu bar
5. Find Active Campaign and click “install”
Then Active campaign
1. Log-in to active campaign at https://www.activecampaign.com/
2. Click on “settings”
3. Click “developer”
4. Grab URL and API key here
Jump back to Survey Detective
1. Name your integration (ie: Active Campaign Integration)
2. Paste API key
3. Paste API url
4. Press submit / save
Set up triggers in survey detective
1. Click on each outcome individually
2. Click “add action”
3. Select “add contact to list” from the dropdown menu
4. Select the list you’d like to add from the drop down items
5. Repeat process for each outcome
How to set up an integration with Mailchimp:
Start with Survey Detective
1. Go to the home page at https://app.surveydetective.io/
2. Click “surveys” on the left menu bar
3. Click “edit” on the survey you’d like to set up the integration for
4. Click “integrations” from the top menu bar
5. Find Mailchimp and click “install”
6. Name your integration (ie: Mailchimp Integration)
7. Press save
Upon saving you’ll be directed to log-in on Mailchimp
1. Log-in
2. Authorize survey detective
Upon authorization, you’ll be directed back to Survey Detective
1. Click on each outcome individually
2. Click “add action”
3. Select “add contact to list” from the dropdown menu
4. Select the list you’d like to add from the drop down items
5. Repeat process for each outcome
How to place tracking code:
1. Go to the home page at https://app.surveydetective.io/
2. Click “surveys” on the left menu bar
3. Click conversion pixel under the top menu bar
4. Toggle the area you'd like add the tracking code
5. Insert tracking code and click save
